You can apply to the UWV for pregnancy and maternity leave, adoption or carer’s leave, paid parental leave and additional childbirth leave. This is regulated in the Work and Care Act (WAZO).

1) I am an employee
If you are pregnant and employed by your employer, you will be entitled to pregnancy pay. Your employer will apply to us for this benefit.
