Most of the temporary employment agencies are affiliated to the NBBU or ABU. Both work on a phased system. Is your agency a member of the NBBU? Then you fall under the NBBU phase system. Your legal status depends on which NBBU phase you are in at any given time. With each phase you get more rights. This includes rights such as pension scheme, notice period and salary continuation. The NBBU has four phases: phase 1, phase 2, phase 3 and phase 4. Phase 1 and phase 2 of the NBBU are combined, making them equal to phase A of the ABU.
